展現英語(yu)風(feng)采，訴說微笑力量。5月18日下午(wu)，山東職業(ye)學院第一屆英語(yu)文化節開幕式暨“The Power of Smile”主(zhu)(zhu)題英語(yu)演講比賽在圖書(shu)館行(xing)政(zheng)樓東報告廳舉(ju)行(xing)，學院副院長郭(guo)鵬出(chu)席開幕式并致辭，基礎部(思政(zheng)部)主(zhu)(zhu)任賈明斌、團委書(shu)記王偉(wei)、國際交(jiao)流中(zhong)心(xin)主(zhu)(zhu)任呂子泉蒞臨比賽現場。
副院(yuan)長郭(guo)鵬(peng)在致辭中指出，隨著我們國家高鐵國際(ji)化戰略的(de)(de)推進實施(shi)和(he)學(xue)(xue)(xue)院(yuan)建設優(you)質高職院(yuan)校(xiao)的(de)(de)改革發展，培(pei)養高素質應用(yong)型人(ren)才目標中學(xue)(xue)(xue)生英語(yu)(yu)應用(yong)水平(ping)凸顯重要性，此次(ci)隆重舉(ju)辦我院(yuan)第一屆(jie)英語(yu)(yu)文(wen)化節(jie)目的(de)(de)就是為了進一步突出英語(yu)(yu)學(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)的(de)(de)重要性，鍛(duan)煉同學(xue)(xue)(xue)們的(de)(de)英語(yu)(yu)口語(yu)(yu)及(ji)實際(ji)交流應用(yong)能力，營(ying)造(zao)學(xue)(xue)(xue)院(yuan)濃厚的(de)(de)英語(yu)(yu)學(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)氛(fen)圍，為打(da)造(zao)特(te)色學(xue)(xue)(xue)習(xi)型校(xiao)園進行的(de)(de)一次(ci)非常有益和(he)有意義的(de)(de)嘗試(shi)。
本屆英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)文(wen)化節歷時一個月，由基礎部、團委和(he)國際交流中心共(gong)同舉辦(ban)，是響應學(xue)院建設國內領先、國際先進(jin)的(de)(de)優質高職院校目標(biao)，通過(guo)開(kai)展英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)演講比(bi)賽、英(ying)(ying)文(wen)歌(ge)曲大賽、英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)配音秀、英(ying)(ying)文(wen)海(hai)報比(bi)賽和(he)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)角等系列主(zhu)題活(huo)動，旨(zhi)在(zai)營造人(ren)人(ren)學(xue)習(xi)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)、用好(hao)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)的(de)(de)濃厚氛圍，提(ti)升大學(xue)生(sheng)(sheng)的(de)(de)學(xue)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)、說英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)、用好(hao)英(ying)(ying)語(yu)(yu)的(de)(de)水平，活(huo)動內容新穎豐富，貼(tie)近(jin)學(xue)習(xi)生(sheng)(sheng)活(huo)。
經過(guo)前期的預(yu)賽，最(zui)(zui)終有(you)來自各系(xi)的15位選手站上了決(jue)賽的舞臺，他(ta)們(men)圍繞“The Power of Smile”為主題展示英語演講(jiang)風采，他(ta)們(men)的演講(jiang)或慷慨激昂、情感熱烈，或述(shu)說細膩、娓娓道來，加之與外教Kim、Daleen的現場互動(dong)問(wen)答，贏得了臺下(xia)觀眾的陣(zhen)(zhen)陣(zhen)(zhen)掌聲(sheng)。經過(guo)激烈的比拼，最(zui)(zui)終張嘉琳、袁(yuan)嘉賢、周穎(ying)、曲昌(chang)、高雪菲(fei)5位同學(xue)榮獲了此次(ci)比賽的一等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
